Off the top of my head.

I'll change this lineup tomorrow to include:

Scarlet Fire
Dire Wolf
Box of Rain
New Speedway
HCS!
Playin
Drums/Space (don't hate me because I'm beautiful!)
China Doll
COMES A TIME
Brokedown Palace

...well, it goes on. But these are the choice cuts.

P.S. I left out Dark Star because there is only one Pacino.

I Love Bertha and Love playing it on the guitar but it became too pedestrian for me after awhile.

They played FOTD (Merriweather '84-I believe) and I thought it was great but the people I was with thought IT was pedestrian - "the wheel is turnin..."

Dew
Playin>UJB
Jack Straw (or China>Rider)
Scarlet>Fire
The Other One

I saw all of these with some regularity. Caught 3 Stars and 2 Stephens. Should be on my list, but went with my real experience--hence no Pig, Caution, 11, etc.

Bertha, Jack Straw, Sugaree, Row Jimmy, Ramble on Rose.

God this is hard, I still got to put U.S. Blues, Violla Lee Blues, Cold Rain and Snow, Warf rat, Morning Dew, and so many more that would tie in the top five.

Question for somebody that could help me out. I am a regular at a Grateful Dead bar. Its a great place with only the Dead playing. I heard them do Bright Side of the Road. I looked on the archive, looked for any show where they did this song. I cant find it. I used the advanced search and nothing. Anybody know if you can get that on a show on here?

These never fail to put a smile on my face.
Morning Dew
St Stephen
Dark Star
Help > Slip > Franklin's
Ripple/Box of Rain

Everyone was right, that fifth one is tough to pick.

This would be easier if it was a favorite 28 list. At least that way I could start making a dent in all my faves.

All are usually easy choices, with the exception of that ever-pesky fifth choice. Utilizing the popular disclaimer "in no particular order", here ya go:

High Time
Shakedown Street
Bird Song
Dark Star
Eyes/Playin' (See what I mean? At the moment, it's a tie. That fifth one is always a real bastard...)
